Crashes last 1-2 seconds and occur for the following reasons:
- Speed: Some maps have maximum speeds on corners.
- Power-Ups: Do not use the “Great Responsibility” power-up when approaching or rounding corners.
- Disabled Lanes: There are several maps with disabled lanes. If you ride into a disabled lane, you will crash, unless you have deployed an "Uncrashable" power-up.
- Obstructions: Some maps have obstacles in certain lanes around which you will need to move.
- Road Surface: Some maps have a road surface that is more “slippery,” and you will need to adjust your speed accordingly.
- Corners: If you slide out in a corner and bump into someone, you will crash, but the other rider won't.
Activities can be configured with no crashing by the activity creator. When the Uncrashable power-up is set as an ability (stays on throughout the activity), you will not crash. In addition, you cannot crash in Workouts.
Use the brake line arrows in the middle of the road to gauge your corner speeds and help prevent crashes. You may also notice a very subtle visual cue in the form of a red hue on the sides of the screen if you are about to crash.
