What does the Gap mean in the Nearby Riders List?

The Nearby Riders List (NBRL) displays information about the riders around you:

  • By default, the NBRL will highlight your name in yellow.
  • You can change views by clicking on another rider in the NBRL.
  • The Gap displayed is a modified calculation relative to the rider selected in the NBRL and the Leader.
  • The Gap will show:
    • the Gap for the riders ahead of you as a positive number, and
    • the Gap for the riders behind you as a negative number
    • if the Gap between you and the lead rider is greater than 4 minutes the NBRL will show >4:00 
  • An asterisk (*) next to the:
    • rider's name signifies they are on a different lap than you
    • rider's gap signifies that person has been lapped by the Leader
