Everyone in has access to the following audio channels:
- Offline: No Audio
- Global: Anyone anywhere in game who is on the Global channel, and
- Playlist: Anyone in the same playlist who is on the Playlist channel
There are multiple ways to change audio channels:
- From an Activity, in the bottom right corner, you will see the small circle profile pics of those riding with you who are in the same playlist audio channel. To toggle your mic on and off (off by default), click on the microphone next to the profile pics. To mute others in the channel, press the left arrow to expand the profile pics and click on any rider you want to mute. Click their pic again to unmute.
- From an Activity, use Shift+Q to open the Settings Menu and select Social. Click on the Channel tab and you can change your audio channel in the drop-down menu. You can also see who is in the channel with you.
- Anyone can join or create a group in the game and each group has its own audio channel.
- To join a group, from the Home Screen > My Stuff > Friends/Groups > My Groups. The Recommendations tab will list groups you can join; you can also search for groups already created. Once you are in the group, that group's audio channel will be in your list of channels.
- To create a new group, in the Friends/Groups area > Groups Managed, then click on the "+" button to create a new group and that audio channel will be added to your list of channels.
