What types of Activities are available?

The game has different types of Activities to keep you engaged. Click on the hamburger menu in the upper left and choose Explore to check out all activity types.  You can even filter and sort them as you want:

  • Map: has no start or end, join when you want, and ride for as long as you want
  • Event: scheduled events that can be replayed & raced against original participants
  • Replay: replay a Scheduled Event with the (virtual) original participants
  • Ride: has a start and an end, non-competitive, on-demand
  • Race: has a start and an end, competitive with results, on-demand
  • Workout: has a start and end, structured segments with intensity goals, no crashing, on-demand
  • Time Trial: it's about your individual performance, no drafting or blocking, on-demand
  • Favorite: an activity which you have marked as a favorite
  • Blends: a Playlist (group of activities) with a combination of activity types and is created by an Activity Editor
  • Smash Cup: a series of increasingly difficult races, earning points in each race. You can find Smash Cups from the Home Screen.  Since Smash Cups are a series of activities, you will find them in a separate category on the Home Screen.
  • Challenge: are not activities but, rather, goal-oriented tasks where players aim to achieve targets like moving time, distance, or elevation gain over an extended period.  They are in My Stuff because they are your challenges.

The first time you enter an activity, you may be greeted with informational or  interactive tutorials which may include the following, depending on which type of activity you chose and your actions in the activity: How to ride in that particular activity, Gearing, Stamina Wheel, How to move, Crashing, Power-ups, Exiting an activity, Drafting, and more. You can also revisit any tutorials on the Home Screen or under the Help "?" button in the upper right of most screens.
